Well, the end is over.
The Post Office Jumps are now gone.
Its been one crazy week of amazing riding followed by melancholy celebration.
And one thing that has struck home, is that, although we are calling this a relocation effort, its not really. The Post Office Jumps can never be replaced. It was one of those once in a lifetime things that sometimes happens. But, we can take that spirit, and use that. Use what Post Office taught us. That a small town embraced some big jumps and the effect was felt internationally. That lives could be touched, careers made, sanity saved, by expertly shaped dirt. And we can use all that knowledge and community spirit to find a new home, that while not the same, is still pretty sick.
Post Office was where we all met our best friends, created careers and influenced the youth of today. We had as much fun as we could riding and digging. I would like to thank everyone that came out the last week and showed their support and love for dirt jumping. The spirit of Post lives on and will never die. – Alex Reveles
