On February 17, 2015, after approximately 15 years, the dirt jumps located near the Aptos, CA post office will be torn down. A huge thank you to Barry Swenson Builders for allowing the community to use the land all of those years.
We are seeking 1-2 acres of land to relocate the dirt jumps. The immediate need is to replace the existing expert jump lines, requiring approximately 1 acre of land. With up to two acres, we could extend the plans to include much needed beginner and intermediate jump lines, and a pump track. The ideal location would be zoned for recreation, have a slight slope to the land, easy access via bicycle, and some accommodations for parking.
We are looking for community support as we seek out a new location and get approval from all the various agencies to make it happen.
